ORCHIDIFY is the brainchild of Shailaja Surendra Kamat. A postgraduate in M.Sc. Marine, Mrs. Kamat owns Vidyasagar Farms nestled on 6 acres in Karjat since last 10 years.

Passionate about flowers in general and orchids in particular, she cultivates best quality orchids of Dendrobium variety in Sonia Pink and Sonia White. In all about 1 lac orchid plants are in cultivation. Each plant is 1.5-2 feet high with 2/3 flowers minimum and about 4 buds on top.

Current capacity is of providing 3 lac orchid sticks per annum which is going to be expanded to 10 lac sticks per year by 2025.
